Apple Valley Country Club was incorporated on February 4, 1963 and was managed for the last 30 years by Dr. J.T. Mallamo. Dr. Mallamo was a legendary amateur golfer in the North Central West Virginia region winning many tournaments including the National American Medical Association Championship in Rye, New York in 1954.  He regularly played courses throughout the country with such celebrities as Sam Snead, Jack Lemon and Perry Como.  Dr. Mallamo died in 2001 and the torch was passed to the next generation.  Dr. Mallamo's daughter, Cecelia, continues to dedicate herself  to keeping the course open despite strong opposition.

Ms. Mallamo hired Jeremy Cochran to manage the course in 2005. Mr. Cochran's love of the course and fundamental small business values have melded well with our company's goals.
